For the Tooth Fairy

Hello Crafty friends! The Challenge this week at FCCB is to make a project with a tooth fairy theme.  You can check out all the fun toothy Cricut projects here.  For my project, I made a sign for my niece that she can hang on her door or even her bed post to deposit her tooth for easy pick up.  IF I was the tooth fairy, this would come in handy... as no one would like to dig around under someone's pillow while they sleep.  Just place your tooth in the pocket made with the Sentimentals Cartridge and wait for the Tooth Fairy to do her magic. All the other cuts on this project are from Baby Steps.  I am sure my niece will love this!

Water Bottle Tags

It is Challenge Me Monday at FCCB and this weeks challenge is to make a project with a sports theme with your cricut.  The sports at my house right now are cheerleading and dance.  I thought it would be fun to decorate some water bottles for my daughter's cheerleading squad and personalized them with their names.  Go TEAM!

ABC Banner Frame

I enjoy decorating for the seasons with my kids.  I can't stop playing with the new stamps from Peachy Keen released in August.  A "Peachy ABC" school theme banner seemed like a fun idea. The banner pieces are hung with wooden clothespins that hang on floral wire. This way I can switch out the banners for different seasons.  The banner pieces are about 4 inches tall.  I can't wait to make more for upcoming holidays.

The school house and apple are from PKSC-08 August 2012.

This cute bus is from PK-128 School Bus and Lunch.
And my cat is sleeping purrrrfectly on a bed of daisies
The sweet calico cat's face is from PK-110 Here Kitty Kitty Face Assortment.

Above is a close up of Ms. Calico and the Dress.
The dress is from the girl stamp in the PKSC-7 July 2012 set.

Hey Smartie!

Hello crafty friends! I just made this project with a new owl stamp from Peachy Keen's August release.  I  made this for me, but my daughter saw it and loved it! She was beaming and saying it would be her special notebook for school.  Well... school supplies are on sale...  I will have to pick one up for me.

Two Peachy Challenge Cards

I made two cards for Peachy Keen's Ning Site's Release Party Challenges. You can read the details and enter your entries here. The challenges are open until August 8 at 11:59 pm CST.
For challenge #1, I made my first easel card and it won't be my last. I used the Peachy Keen August Stamp of the Month set. My school house is a Cricut cut from Pop-up neighborhood. I used the school bell for my die cut school.. easier than cutting small pieces.
For challenge # 2, I made my own "PK Potato Chip" bag. The chip label was printed on my printer on a patterned paper tag sheet.  (Shhh.... don't tell Cookie Monster but those are Sesame Street and Friends cookies tweaked on my Gypsy.) I just love the sentiment and the silly face from this set. PK-127 Sandwich Fun.

For my project, I decorated a lunch box with the August STOM set to store a school themed mini album for my daughter's memories of 4th grade.  The teacher stamp is one of my favorites... I think that worm will be in detention for eating her apple!
Isn't she the sweetest teacher!
