Miss Shayla's Christmas Treat Bag

Hello! I wanted to share my Christmas Treat Bag that I just made. I colored the image last night and just cut the bag after work today. The plan is to make a custom "Miss Shayla" girl for my daughter's friends. She was so fun to color! There is a sweet mouse and cat in this collection of stamps that would work all year round. You can purchase this 21 piece stamp set at Peachy Keen Stamps or the
at the Australian Artist Selina Shelton's site:papercraftswithfunnflair. And both sites have this stamp set on sale right now...

Peachy Keen Challenge 36, Candles

I am lovin' this idea that DoBea came up with for this weeks Peachy Keen Challenge:  Create a project involving candles.  You can wrap them, stamp on them, or anything else your creative  minds can come up with! Be sure to link up by 9/26, 11:59 EST.
I enjoy a candle jar and always have them in my kitchen.  BUT they have those labels that are just asking to be decorated with some darling Peachy Keen stamps!  Here is Miss Spider and her request "gimme all of your flies to eat!" I am sure she will be happy living with me because I live by some horse stables AND their fly friends are plentiful.

Summertime

Summer? That sure went fast!  This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is to make a project about summer.  I have not made a scrapbook page in a while, so I thought it would be fun to print some wallet sized photos of this summer.  The photos are on mats from Elegant edges and embellished with cuts from April Showers,  Mickey & Friends, and 3 Birds on Parade.  The papers, gems, ribbons are from the Webster's Pages.

Springtime- tree, banner, cloud, "sunshine", bike
3 Birds on Parade- "Summer" tag, heart
Mickey & Friends- Mouse Head, sun

Peachy Keen Halloween and Fall Blog Hop

Welcome! You should have come from Vivienne's Blog.  If this is your first stop you might want to head off to the start, The Peachy Keen Blog, because you won't want to miss out on the Peachy Fun!

For my project, I updated my school themed banner frame to celebrate "Twick or Tweet" time. My die cut bird faces are from PK-134 Bird Faces and MORE!  The vampire bird has his 'fangs' that are just snips of paper added to the beak and he is standing in front of his spooky birdhouse from PK-132 Twick or Tweet Birdhouse. Keeping with the Halloween theme, the die cut pumpkins have adorable faces from PK-550 Pumpkin Faces.
Paper, tags, ribbons, and gems are from the Peachy Pick Kit Club
Aww, Birdy Witch is ready to Twick or Tweet. Sentiment
from PK-132 Twick or Tweet.  One of the pumpkins
seems a little frightened.  EEK, sentiment from PKSC-09.
Black widow spiders are holding the tags in place.

Die cuts from Cricut:

Peachy Keen Challenge #35

THE CHALLENGE
Create a card using the theme Teacher, be it for or from, or anything in between! Your design must be new and linked up to the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog by 9/19, 11:59 pm EST.

For this challenge, I made a shape card with the apple cut from Kate's ABC Cricut cartridge.  I added the adorable "bug eyes" from the PKSC-08.  You can order selected Peachy Keen Stamp Club sets or sign up for the auto-delivery plan.  Check out the Peachy Keen Store to see which plan is best for you. The sentiment stamp is from the same stamp set but I covered the "#1" with a ribbon and stamped "A+" in the center.  The ribbon was made with the My Creative Time's Make a Banner die.  My little gal has already given this apple card to her "A + Teacher".

A teacher's pet for sure!

Halloween Bottles and a Winner!

My daughters enjoy decorating for Halloween so I made these spooky bottle props to add to the collection.  These started out life as cardboard bottles for Halloween. I customized them with my new Peachy Keen Stamp Club set for September, PKSC-09, featuring the bat, the witch silhouette, and the darling little witch girl. I used my Cricut and Martha Stewart punches to made the bottle lables.

Speedy Recovery

My father-in-law will be having surgery soon to install a pace maker.  He is a retired postal worker so I think he will get a kick out of this card. The cricut cuts are from Pop-Up Neighborhood which has a lot of occupational characters making this cart a perfect pick for the FCCB's challenge this week.  Challenge #127 On the Job, make a project with an occupational theme.

Fun Fall Favors

There will be some new Cricut cartridges soon. Much to my delight, Create a Critter 2 will be one of them.  I love the way Create a Critter layers and from what I have seen, the sequel is just as great.  The Cricut Craft Room has a few of the animals for FREE and I made these favor boxes using  Create a Critter 2 and Craft Room Basics.   I was planning to use these as place holders for Thanksgiving but would be nice for a little "thinking of you" present.  I am entering these squirrels into the Create a Critter 2 contest that Provo Craft is hosting and have the cut file and directions at their Project Center.

Peachy Keen September Sneaks!

It is time for another Peachy Keen Sneak Peak! This witch is just a doll! She looks a little spooked about the spider that is above her head... The fabulous thing about this stamp is that you can change her look just by stamping a different face stamp. This sweet witch stamp and sentiment is included in the September Stamp of the Month selection from Peachy Keen Stamps. If you are interested in crafting for Fall or Halloween you must check out Peachy Keen Stamps on September 5.
